Surrounded by faces and unknown by them all
Stumbling in this sea of strangers, try not to fall
Secrets are kept and traits are hidden
Exposing our true selves feels forbidden
Walking through this life in isolation
Living each day in sheer resignation
To be unknown by all those around
Is a pain so deep the tears run down
For those of you who stumble across this blog, I invite you to share your thoughts and feelings and know that you are welcome here. For those of you who identify with my writings, I hope you find something helpful buried within these thoughts. I invite you all to take a look around and hope you enjoy.

Are we ever truly known? I once heard someone say that if, in the beginning, we were created naked and unashamed, perhaps we still seek that, and in more ways than simply physical. We long to be us and to relax without fear of judgment. We long to be known and revealed as we truly are and to be loved that way. Beautiful work. You have a gorgeous sort of tormented passion that I feel in my soul and seems to reflect my own

I guess I do still have a knack for writing then, to be able to tap into what others feel with my words and to know someone is able to connect to what I try to convey.
