Seeking answers and finding none
Still the questions are never done
Always pressing upon her mind
Always leaving her feeling blind
Eyes are open but without sight
Ever looking to find the light
But darkness prevails day to day
So in it’s embrace she will lay

Without Fear
She no longer fears the darkness
She embraces all the madness
And within her heart the pain will fade
As this heart of stone is slowly made
Falling over the edge of sane
Letting go of the broken chain
No longer tethered to a world so cold
She is finally free of its icy hold
Solitude
Alone and cold, lying on the floor
She no longer sees an open door
The silence hangs all around
As she lies there on the ground
But darkness holds no fear in this place
And this solitude she will embrace
Hollow
She opens the door, invites it in
This lonely girl with the palest skin
The hollowness within grows each day
And so she will beg for it to stay
To help fill this void that’s inside
This emptiness that she can’t hide
To stop this numbness that overtakes
And to once more feel a heart that aches
She’ll embrace the misery and the pain
She’ll invite it in and she’ll let it reign
Forsaken
Free her now from this prison within
Release her from the pain that has been
Holding her soul and crushing her heart
Giving her hope to tear it apart
Let her find the solace she needs
That shred of hope for which she pleads
Though she’s broken and her view left jaded
There’s a light within that’s not yet faded
Give her a chance to rekindle the fire
So that upon those flames she can fly higher
As they consume the past and the pain
And within their heat melt every chain
Never again will she be taken
To a place where she is forsaken
Falling Within
No one to catch her as she falls
And within her the darkness calls
A soothing lullaby in her ear
Making her forget all of her fear
Within herself she’ll fall deeper
The walls outside growing steeper
To live her days in this solitude
Where her pain and fear can be subdued
Damaged
Cold seeps in as she closes her eyes
And all around her the darkness tries
To erase the pain and agony
That she has been caused so callously
But all her wounds, even time can’t heal
All of her sorrow the world canĀ feel
The Deepest Wound
His words slice through her like a blade
Letting her feel the price she’s paid
The cold steel cuts deep into her soul
And agony within becomes whole
Her hope pours out and fades away
With weakened heart she starts to sway
A final stab spoken from his lips
And into darkness she slowly slips
Forgotten
Alone in a crowd she falls to her knees
This crumpled up doll that nobody sees
Her strength is gone and her will is broken
Her words fall unheard as if unspoken
As she falls prey to all the madness
Another victim of the darkness
The Last Fall
Broken and beaten, she tries to regain
Balance within she struggles to maintain
She stumbles and falls along this path
Trying to outrun all of Fate’s wrath
But her wounds too many for time to heal
The pain so deep that it’s all she can feel
In agony she falls one last time
She has no strength left to make that climb
